Maintenance Operative - Static Site

£16-£20 per hour 8am-5pm 3-Month Contract (Potential Temp-to-Perm)

We're working with a respected client who is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Operative for a static commercial site in Southampton. This is a three-month contract with real potential to become a permanent role for the right person.

About the Role:
You'll be part of a small on-site team carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and general building maintenance across a modern commercial facility. The work is varied and hands-on, so we're looking for someone confident with a wide range of basic maintenance tasks - from minor repairs and servicing to keeping the site operating smoothly day to day.

Key Details:

• Location: Static site in Southampton
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
• Rate: £16-£20 per hour (depending on experience)
• Duration: 3 months initially
• Temp-to-perm potential for the right candidate

What We're Looking For:

• Experience with general building maintenance and PPMs
• A proactive, professional approach
• Able to work independently and take ownership of tasks
• Strong communication and reliability
• Trade skills (electrical, plumbing, carpentry) are a bonus but not essential
