Maintenance Engineer

Thrive Group are delighted to be working with our company based in Frome who are actively looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis.

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will be working Pittman rotating 12-hour shifts within our retail production facility:

1. Attend machine breakdowns efficiently and provide effective measures to ensure issues are resolved.
2. Carry out PPM, corrective and improvement actions on all packing machines.
3. Deliver and develop effective re-active maintenance, repairs & improvements.
4. Generate and complete work orders on the CMMS.
5. Help develop and implement effective PM schedules.
6. Support and achieve the engineering KPI's.

What you will need to succeed:

1. Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment - ideally FMCG automation / packaging.
2. Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge of engineering.
3. Qualifications: HND, HNC, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
4. Excellent fault finding and root cause analysis skills.
5. Comfortable in autonomous decision making and team working.
