Maintenance Engineer - £40,000, 06:00 - 14:00 pm Days only, Wellingborough.

Package includes: 23 + 8 Days bank holiday & 4 x Death in Service cover.

ATA are working with a well-established, American-owned group with a heritage spanning over 120 years and now in its fourth generation of family ownership. In the UK, they operate a specialist manufacturing facility responsible for producing and assembling high-quality consumer products used in homes across the country. With demand continuing to grow, the business has seen a sustained increase in sales, leading to recent CAPEX investment to support ongoing expansion.

The site offers a supportive, close-knit culture, led from the front by an Engineering Manager who brings a positive attitude and is genuinely committed to putting his engineers first.

About the role

As a maintenance engineer you will be responsible for maintaining a variety of machinery, which includes injection moulding, blow moulding, pick and place robotics, carton erectors plus more.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Keeping up to date with the planned preventive maintenance schedule.
• Reacting to breakdowns in a safe and timely manner.
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding and fault rectification.

About you

Our customer is happy to see maintenance engineers from various backgrounds and industries; however, would welcome the opportunity to speak to those specifically from injection/blow moulding.

To be considered what's important is:

• Being able to work within a small team and add to the positive working environment.
• You are able to work safely electrically and complete safe LOTO procedures.
• Recognised engineering qualification: ideally level 3, however those with a level 2 would be considered with strong experience.
