Maintenance Electrician

A Maintenance Electrician is required in Redditch for a permanent position with Manpower UK, offering a salary between £30,866 and £36,000 per annum. This role involves undertaking planned and reactive electrical maintenance across a secure Ministry of Justice site, ensuring essential facilities operate safely and efficiently. Duties include diagnosing faults, completing repairs, and performing electrical testing to BS7671 standards. The position demands a Level 2 electrical qualification and 18th Edition certification. What you ll be doing

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across site
• Diagnose electrical faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Undertake electrical testing in line with BS7671
• Support safe, compliant and secure operations at all times
• Work both independently and as part of the wider facilities team

What you ll bring

• Level 2 electrical qualifications (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition (or 17th Edition with willingness to upskill)
• Experience in maintenance or a similar environment
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
• A proactive, safety-focused approach to your work

Additional information

• You ll be working a 39-hour week on a structured rota, with a 15% allowance for 1 in 3 weekend working
• Prison Security Clearance will be required (the employer will support you through the process)
