As a Maintenance Delivery Manager, you'll lead the maintenance program for substation assets (LV to 33kV), reporting to the M&I business unit. You will oversee teams across the SEPD region, ensuring safety, supporting team development, and driving productivity and quality in daily maintenance and inspection tasks.
You'll be responsible for monthly delivery forecasts to meet annual targets and support projects focused on asset health, managing several multi-million-pound programs during the ED2 period, providing insights for asset lifecycle decisions.
We seek a proactive leader who prioritizes safety, fosters team growth, and communicates openly to build a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all voltage system projects across two regional areas, ensuring safe and efficient delivery within time and budget constraints.
- Plan and oversee substation maintenance and inspections for equipment up to 33kV.
- Lead a team of managers and skilled workers to enhance task completion within the SEPD license area.
- Challenge existing processes to improve team delivery while maintaining safety.
- Manage system data, financial responsibilities, approve timesheets, and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Technical experience with electrical networks up to 33kV, knowledge of ESQCR requirements, and SSE's asset health index.
- Strong leadership skills, experience in change management, and leading high-volume projects.
- Network authorizations up to 33kV SAP/SFT are beneficial but not essential.
- Proficiency in IT and data analysis tools such as Maximo, Chime, Electric Office, Excel, Power BI, and Power On.
- Commitment to health and safety practices, aligned with SSE's Safety culture.
