You will be joining a main contractor appointed on a major water framework in the Midlands region. This multi-accredited organisation has a strong pipeline of work in the water sector, and they offer excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development. Their commitment to delivering an exceptional standard of work has positioned them as a leader within the water sector and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Mechanical Site Manager to work on water schemes in the Shropshire area.
Your new role
As Mechanical Site Manager, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, overseeing day-to-day operations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered within budget and to programme, undertaking site audits and inspections, maintaining accurate records and documentation, performing quality checks in line with contract specifications as well as coordinating and liaising with subcontractors and construction teams.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have previous experience in mechanical works within the water industry in a management/supervisory capacity and hold relevant certifications, including CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid. In addition, you will have working knowledge of NEC form of contracts and have proven successful experience of leading delivery teams. Finally, you will have strong interpersonal skills and be able to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
