Lunchtime Supervisor X2 - The Federation of Abbey Infant and Junior School

Responsibilities

• Encourage and engage children during lunchtime.
• Supervise children before and after lunch and playground duty.
• Organise games and activities in line with the school's policy for enrichment.
• Work as part of a team, forming positive relationships with adults and pupils.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Enthusiastic and dedicated, with the patience to work with young children.
• Ability to speak, read and write fluent English (essential - Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016).
• Willingness to organise enrichment activities.
• Positive attitude, teamwork ability.
• Valid enhanced DBS clearance and satisfactory references required.

Hours, Shift and Term

7.08 hours per week (Standard Term Time Only) - 11.45am - 1.10pm.

The Federation of Abbey Infant and Junior School - Maurice Road, Smethwick, West Midlands, B67 5LR; Barclay Road, Smethwick, West Midlands, B67 5LT.

Contract

1x Fixed Term Position (ending 21 July 2027) and 1x Permanent Position.

Pay

Band B, SCP 4 - £25,185 pro rata (£13.05 per hour) (actual £4,207 per annum) with a living wage supplement to £13.45 per hour payable from 1 April 2026.
