Lunchtime supervisor

The Supply Register is currently recruiting for a Lunchtime Supervisor to work in a welcoming school in Burton on Trent,starting in September.

Location: Burton on Trent
Hours: Monday to Friday (1.5-2 hours per day)
Start Date: September 2026
Contract: Ongoing

• Supervising pupils during the lunchtime period.
• Supporting children in the dining hall and encouraging positive behaviour and good table manners.
• Assisting younger children where required.
• Supervising pupils during playground and wet play activities.
• Promoting a safe, positive and inclusive environment.
• Cleaning tables and dealing with spillages to maintain a safe dining area.
• Reporting any accidents, incidents or safeguarding concerns in line with school procedures.
• Carrying out any other reasonable duties as required by the school.

• Experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
• Two satisfactory references covering the last 24 months.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A friendly, reliable and professional approach.
