Location: Gateshead
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday
Start: September
Pay: Competitive daily rate (dependent on experience)

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Gateshead to appoint a Lower Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to join their dedicated team from September.
Lower Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher - Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Differentiate teaching to support children with a range of learning abilities and SEND
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Support pupils' academic progress, confidence, and personal development
- Promote positive behaviour and high expectations for learning
- Build strong relationships that encourage engagement and achievement
- Maintain a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress
- Follow safeguarding procedures and school policies at all times
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Recent and relevant UK teaching experience within Lower Key Stage 2
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A reflective, enthusiastic, and committed approach to teaching and learning
- Must live locally to Gateshead-no relocation
