London In-House 11/13+ English&VR Tutor

J & D UK Ltd is a tutoring and educational consulting company based in Hammersmith, London, which helps prepare students - mostly from China, Hong Kong and Singapore - for a wide variety of examinations including 11+, 13+ and 16+ school entrance assessments, GCSEs and A-levels.

In-house Lessons are required London-based tutors come to our office to teach, mainly weekday after-school time (after 4pm) and weekend all-day time. The in-house lessons include both 1v1 and group lessons. We are currently looking forEnglish & VR specialists with tutoring experience and excellent subject knowledge who can teach 11/13+ English & VR.

The ideal candidate has:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or experience as a classroom teacher or examiner
• A bachelor's degree in Englishor a related subject (or is currently studying for one)
• Teaching / tutoring experience
• A strong scientific background
• Patience and motivation skills
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum inEnglish
• Excellent behaviour management and organisation skills
• A DBS check (can also be acquired on offer of a contract)

You will need to:

• Plan and prepare lessons in accordance with students' individual needs
• Teach lessons 1v1 or group in person
• Assess and monitor pupils' work and provide lesson feedback
• Record students' progress
