Logistics Operative

Salary Range: £28,594 - £32,000.

Location: Basildon. Permanent, on-site, with hybrid work options.

Overview

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Operative in the Integrated Sensing and Protection business in Basildon. You will work as part of the stores team to ensure our manufacturing and customer support business have the materials they need, when they need them.

Responsibilities

• Goods receipt
• Picking
• Stock relocation
• Repair receipt
• Packing
• Perpetual inventory checks
• Inter site transport
• General warehouse tasks as required

Qualifications

• Good attitude, attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Prior experience in a warehouse or stores environment processing incoming goods, accurately performing picking and put away tasks, packing deliverable items and maintaining inventory accuracy and batch traceability
• Experience using SAP or another ERP or MRP system
• Ability to operate a forklift and/or reach truck
• Full UK driver's licence
• Experience with the tasks listed above is preferred, but not required

This role requires pre employment screening under the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS).
