About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialty Registrar (SpR) in Accident & Emergency to join our team in East Anglia. This is a fixed-term contract position from 1st July 2024 to 1st August 2024, involving twilight shifts from 16:00 to 00:00.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in the Accident & Emergency department.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions and trauma cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care.
• Prioritize patient needs and respond promptly to emergencies.
• Maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in clinical audits, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support and mentor junior medical staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Medical degree and full GMC registration (or equivalent).
• Strong experience and training in Emergency Medicine.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent clinical and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Experience in a reputable healthcare setting in East Anglia.
• Exposure to diverse emergency cases.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
