Position: Specialty Doctor in Clinical Haematology
Location: Northwest UK
Contract Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Duration: 5th August 2024 - 31st October 2024 - with a view to extend
Hours: Full Rota
On-Call: To be discussed at the point of booking
Start Date: 5th August 2024

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Specialty Doctor in Clinical Haematology to join our team in the Northwest UK. This is a full rota opportunity covering our service from 5th August 2024 to 31st October 2024. On-call responsibilities will be discussed at the point of booking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality care and management for patients with haematological conditions.
  • Conduct clinical haematology clinics, including patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
  • Assist in haematological procedures and therapies as required.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough medical records.
  • Adhere to clinical guidelines and standards of care to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
  • Participate in teaching and training junior medical staff and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

  • Medical degree and full GMC registration.
  • Experience in Clinical Haematology at the specialty doctor level.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and education.
