Locum Planning Lawyer

Locum Planning Lawyer - Part Time (15-20 hours) - Remote - Up to £60 per hour (umbrella) - Initial 3+ months

Venn Group's specialist legal team are currently working with a local authority who are seeking a Locum Planning Lawyer to join the team on an interim basis.

Role Overview

Rate: Up to £60 per hour (umbrella)

Working Arrangements: Part Time (15 to 20 hours)

Onsite Requirements: Fully remote working with attendance on the first day to collect the equipment.

Duration: Initial 3-6 months with the likelihood of extension thereafter.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on all aspects of Planning Law to include handling a mixed caseload of S106 agreements, COLs, footpath diversions, enforcement notices, and general planning advice.
• Liaise with council officers to support on relevant projects, ensuring compliance with legislation and policies.

About You

• Experienced in Planning Law.
• Local Government/Public Sector experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently and provide expert legal advice.
