Locum Lawyer (Governance)

Locum Lawyer (Governance) needed in York

The rate is £51.42ph PAYE.

This is a temporary role.

The reference number is: RQ.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake police vetting following their start.

The role will be on a hybrid basis in Northallerton/York, with the ability to attend in-person meetings and committee meetings.

The main tasks assigned to the right person will be:

1. Working on the review of the Combined Authority's constitution.
2. Developing a scheme of delegation with colleagues in the Finance Department.
3. Supporting the Independent Remuneration Panel with their review of remuneration of certain roles.
4. Working with colleagues in the Finance Department around the Annual Governance Statement and ensuring continuous monitoring against any actions.
