Job Opportunity: Gastroenterology Locum Consultant

On behalf of the NHS Trust based in West Midlands, we are seeking an experienced Gastroenterology Locum Consultant to join a friendly department for an ongoing assignment.

Job Details:

• Work across 2 sites, 20 minutes apart; travel expenses covered.
• Ward rota: 1:7 - 9am Monday to 9am Monday.
• Gastroenterologist of the Day (GOD) duties once a week minimum, including reviewing referrals outside of the Gastro ward, triaging EReferrals, and providing advice and guidance (9am - 5pm).
• Advanced Endoscopy experience is desirable but not essential; must be JAG compliant and review latest Endoscopy KPIs.

Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy services, manage outpatient services, and oversee gastroenterology and medical in-patients on the gastroenterology ward.
