Locum Employment Solicitor £50-£70 per hour

My client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for providing pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to a wide range of businesses and individuals. Their Employment team advises on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters and is known for delivering practical solutions to complex workplace issues. Due to increased workload, they are now seeking an experienced Locum Employment Solicitor (£50-70 per hour) to support the team.

Job Title: Locum Employment Solicitor (£50-£70 per hour)Location: Remote (adhoc travel may be required)Contract Type: Full-time or part-time for the right candidate Contract Length: 3 - 6 months (high chance of this being ongoing)

What you'll be doing: Advising clients on a broad range of day-to-day HR and employment law matters. Drafting employment contracts, workplace policies, and staff handbooks. Handling and advising on settlement agreements, redundancy matters, and Employment Tribunal claims. Supporting corporate transactions with employment law input, including TUPE and due diligence. Undertaking advocacy in tribunal, chambers, or court settings where appropriate. Delivering client training sessions and assisting with presentations. Supporting business development and marketing initiatives for the employment team where required. Working across both claimant and respondent employment matters. Managing your own caseload with minimal supervision.
