Locum Employment Lawyer

Overview

Locum Employment Lawyer - London Borough - 6 month initial contract with the possibility of extension depending on project needs. Full time, £45-50 per hour umbrella.

Requirements

• Qualified Lawyer, with a valid practising certificate in the UK
• Specialism within Employment Law, with experience of practising post-qualification
• Experience working for any public sector organisation or local authority

Duties/Responsibilities

• Advising on all matters of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious
• Advising on areas of employment law such as TUPE and equal pay
• Attending and preparing for employment tribunals as necessary
• Representing the Borough and external clients
• Deputise for senior members of the legal team
