Main Duties of the Job

• The post holder will also be expected to contribute to the development of innovative pathways and work with the multidisciplinary team to manage the demands of the busy service in close collaboration with the local and regional needs.
• To build on the already-established pathways between all sites within the MSE Trust, to optimise patient pathways and support further development of the network.
• Work with the multidisciplinary team to undertake a senior role in the general provision of paediatric services at Basildon Hospital and MSE.

Person Specification Qualifications

• MRCPCH by examination or equivalent
• MBBS or equivalent
• Valid BLS Training
• Valid APLS/EPLS/EPALS and NLS
• Entry on GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) at time of interview

Experience

• Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in the specialty
• Comprehensive knowledge in the specialty and ability to offer expert clinical opinion on range of problems.

£113,565 to £150,569 a year per annum (Pro Rata for Part Time)
