Locum Consultant Neurorehabilitation - Kent

National Locums are working on behalf on of an NHS trust based in Kent looking for a locum Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine.

The Rehabilitation department based in an NHS trust in Kent are looking for a locum Consultant in Neurorehabilitation to start as soon as possible for 6 months in the first instance.

This is a full-time position covering 5 days a week. Core working hours will be Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00.

The main duties will include:

• Care of 19 bedded inpatient facility including up to 2 Tracheostomy patients.
• Daily board rounds.
• Lead weekly MDT meeting.
• Supervise trust grade doctor and Physician Associate.
• 3 outpatient clinics per week
• Provide injection of botox, xeomin and determine eligibility for intrachecal baclofen pump.
• Support clinical governance aspects of Neuro-rehab service.
• Lea the triage of new referrals to decide admission or sign-posting to allied services in the community.

You must hold full the following in order to be considered:

• GMC license to practise.
• NHS experience in Neurorehabilitation Medicine.
