Locum Consultant Neuroradiologist - North Midlands

National Locums is working on behalf of an NHS trust based in Hampshire, seeking a locum Consultant in Radiology with an interest in Neuroradiology.

The Radiology department of an NHS trust in the North Midlands is looking for a locum Consultant in Neuroradiology to start as soon as possible for up to 12 months.

Full-time and part-time hours will be considered. Remote working may also be an option.

This is an urgent requirement for Diagnostic Radiology. The trust is a tertiary Neuro centre, so applicants must have specialist Neuroradiology experience, including trauma, post-surgical imaging, angiography, and perfusion.

Typical schedule:

1. Monday - Friday: hotseat acute neuro reporting (Emergency Department and Inpatients), diagnostic and intervention head/neck ultrasound lists, cold reporting oncology/outpatients, and evening on-call (2-3 hours of scan checking by SpRs).
2. Saturday and Sunday: 9 hours of work, up to 100 acute scans per 24 hours, including CT and MR (plain, angiography, venogram, head and spine).

• RIS - Cris
• CRIS for reporting

Requirements:

• GMC license to practise
• NHS experience in Head and Neck Radiology
• Specialist registration in Radiology is preferred but not essential
