Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist (Lung Cancers)

This appointment is for a Locum Consultant Medical Oncologist with an interest in Lung Cancers for a period of 12 months to cover a maternity leave. This is split 2 days at Salisbury District Hospital (SDH) and 2 days a week at University Hospital Southampton (UHS).

• Provide specialist Medical Oncology input with expertise in Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy for these groups of patients.
• Treat patients with Lung cancers at UHS and SDH.
• Provide support to the Respiratory team for inpatient admissions with Lung Cancer.
• Provide oncology input to the UHS/SDH lung MDTs.

The post is available as a part time 9 PA post.

Must hold Full registration (with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible for registration within six months of interview.
