Locum Consultant Dermatologist - NHS - London

We are looking for a Locum Consultant Dermatologist who holds a Diploma in Dermatology or equivalent and can assist with triage of dermatology referrals.

National Locums is currently hiring Consultant Dermatologists and SPR/Associate Specialists to cover:

• Minor-ops
• Biologics
• 2ww clinics

Pay rates start from £800 per day up to £2500 per day. Most work is private clinic-led, paid via limited company, umbrella, or self-employed arrangements. The post duration is from 3 months to 1 year. The role involves seeing general dermatology patients directly referred by GPs, undertaking investigations, diagnosing conditions, and recommending treatments.

When appropriate, refer patients back to their GP with advice for ongoing management or for a Specialist opinion from a Senior Consultant Dermatologist, Plastic Surgeon, or Dermatology Nurse.

Work collaboratively with the dermatology nurse specialist, support joint review of patients, and provide dermatological advice.

Undertake diagnostic biopsies, cryotherapy, curettage, and cautery procedures. Nursing support is available during clinics.
