Sophisticated frauds, involving grooming of targeted individuals, shows the fake recruiter asking the unsuspecting job seeker to take part in a fake job interview, either over the phone or via WhatsApp, and also sending fraudulent follow-up correspondence offering job positions.
Any communication about jobs at Oxford University Hospitals will come from 'Trac', or via an ouh.nhs.uk email address.

A whole-time/part-time post as locum consultant in Paediatric Anaesthesia is available now at the John Radcliffe Hospital. The appointment is on a whole-time/part-time basis but applications are welcome from those who wish to job share. This is a fixed-term locum post for 5 months for maternity leave cover.
Any person who is unable for personal reasons to work full-time will be eligible to be considered for the post. If such a person is appointed, modification of the job content will be discussed on a personal basis, in consultation with consultant colleagues. Suitably qualified job-share candidates will receive serious consideration.
Main duties of the job PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Paediatric Anaesthesia
The post-holder's duties will be primarily at the John Radcliffe Hospital, but it is a condition of the appointment that the post-holder will be willing to work in any of the Trust's locations; John Radcliffe, Churchill and Horton Hospitals and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Hospital.
Clinical
This post is based around fixed theatre days which may include paediatric general/urological surgery (including emergency surgery and neonatal procedures) plus flexible cover for paediatric lists of all non- cardiac paediatric specialties and with the opportunity to contribute to the oncall rota if required.
Teaching/Research
Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust is a teaching hospital trust, and the post-holder will be required to participate in programmes for teaching clinical students, training junior doctors and in clinical examinations. It is expected that this will be an integral part of everyday clinical activity. The post-holder's contribution to teaching, training and research will be included in the regular job plan review.
Clinical Governance
The post-holder will participate in all clinical governance activities, including clinical audit, clinical effectiveness, risk management, quality improvement activities as required by the Trust, and external accrediting bodies.

Person specification Qualifications/Training
- Medical qualification acceptable by the GMC
- GMC specialist registration or within 6 months of being admitted to the GMC's specialist register or equivalent training and experience
- Minimum 6 months experience in Anaesthesia in the UK in the NHS
- Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) or equivalent.
- CCT in Anaesthesia or equivalent.
- Possession of other related postgraduate qualification such as MD, BSc, MSc or PhD
- Additional advanced training or fellowship in a relevant sub-specialty
- To be able to work independently at consultant level and perform as a member of a team.
- Experience in anaesthesia in paediatric neonatal surgery with evidence of advanced training.
- Minimum of 12 months advanced specialist paediatric anaesthesia training as a senior trainee or post-CCT fellow, or equivalent
- Evidence of ability to make decisions at consultant level and to manage complex clinical problems.
- Qualification or advanced training in regional anaesthesia in children
- Experience in paediatric or neonatal intensive care
- Able to take responsibility, show leadership, make decisions, and exert appropriate authority
- Effective administrative and time management skills.
- Training in clinical management.
- Knowledge of the NHS and the role of Clinical Networks.
- Understanding of the complexities of performing in a regional paediatric referral centre.
- Evidence of significant contribution to successful teamwork
- Able to communicate in English to the appropriate standard necessary to fulfil the job requirements. Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience of formal and informal contributions to teaching and training.
- Evidence of effective and sustained contribution to clinical governance, Clinical risk management and clinical audit as well as quality improvement activities
- Ability to peer review clinical research and participate in anaesthetic research activities
- Evidence of ability to lead a clinical team at the level of a consultant in a teaching hospital.
