Locum Childcare Advocate

Venn Group have been instructed on a Locum Childcare Solicitor role on behalf of a North East local authority.

This role involves handling a mixed caseload of pre-proceedings and care cases and will involve advocacy in-person at Middlesbrough Combined Court Centre. Ideally, the authority is seeking a candidate who can conduct all levels of advocacy including contested hearings.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 3 months initially with scope to extend

Working Arrangement: Full-time, hybrid (attendance for court required approx. two days per week)

Rate: £55-65 per hour, umbrella

The successful candidate must be a qualified solicitor/barrister/CILEx and hold a current practising certificate.
