Job Description

Locum Consultant Anaesthesiologist

MatchMedics (HSE Tier 1 Agency) - Various Hospitals, Ireland

Provide consultant-level anaesthetic care across multiple HSE hospitals on a locum basis

Deliver perioperative anaesthesia for elective and emergency surgical procedures across a range of specialties
Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualised anaesthetic plans
Manage intraoperative care, ensuring patient safety, haemodynamic stability, and optimal outcomes
Oversee post-operative care, including pain management and recovery support
Respond to emergency situations, including airway management and resuscitation as part of multidisciplinary teams
Collaborate closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and allied healthcare professionals to ensure high standards of care
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in line with HSE protocols and regulatory standards
Adapt quickly to different hospital environments, systems, and team structures

MUST HAVE:

Specialist Registration

Irish/UK/EU Passport OR Stamp 1g/4 visa.
