Job Description
Locally Employed FY2 Doctor - Rheumatology

This is a replacementpost for a LED doctor to Medicine rotational posts in East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust.

The appointee will be based at Eastbourne District General Hospital, but this may change depending on service need.

The post-holder will be managerially accountable to the Clinical Lead in performance of all duties.

Full time based at Eastbourne District General Hospital.

This is a fixed term contract and will end 5th August 2025

Main duties of the job
  • Inpatient commitment for both Rheumatology and GIM
  • Acute medical takes, weekend discharge role to be discussed separately after successful interviews
  • Quality improvement projects and taking part in departmental training and teaching activities

Person Specification Qualifications
  • MBBS or equivalent
  • Full Registration with GMC with a licence to practise
  • Part 1 MRCP
Training/Experience
  • Experience/Willing to develop experience in all aspects of General medicine
