Football Development Officer (Clubs)

Liverpool County FA
Location: Liverpool / Hybrid Working
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Contract: Fixed-term until December 2028
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Liverpool County FA is seeking a Football Development Officer (Clubs) to support and develop England Football Accredited Clubs across Merseyside. The successful candidate will work with club leaders, volunteers, The FA and key stakeholders to help clubs become more sustainable, grow participation opportunities and enhance the football experience for players across all pathways.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development and sustainability of England Football Accredited Clubs.
  • Build strong relationships with club leaders, volunteers and partner organisations.
  • Support club growth, pathway development and volunteer engagement.
  • Deliver excellent customer support across FA systems and platforms.
About You

The ideal candidate will have experience in football or sports development, excellent communication and organisational skills, and a passion for supporting grassroots football. Knowledge of safeguarding, inclusion and volunteer-led environments would be advantageous.
