Litigation Solicitor

A leading Legal 500 firm is seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join as an Associate/Senior Associate Solicitor (5+ PQE) within their Commercial and General Civil Litigation team. The firm offers hybrid working, tailored career progression plans, and a range of additional incentives.

This Litigation Solicitor role offers the opportunity to work on complex and varied disputes within a well-established, friendly and growing team involved in nationally reported cases.

• Manage a varied caseload of commercial and general civil litigation matters, including shareholder and company disputes, debt recovery, contract disputes, PI, negligence, and property litigation.
• Draft, prepare and organise witness statements, pleadings and trial bundles.
• Conduct advocacy in the County Court and High Court where appropriate.
• Liaise with Counsel and manage external legal resources effectively.
• Undertake costs management, budgeting and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.
• Apply a strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (CPR) and related procedural requirements.
• Achieve billing, time recording and fee-earning targets, while supporting the firm's credit control processes.
• Contribute to business development and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide strong advocacy in both County Court and High Court proceedings.
• Maintain excellent knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures.
