Litigation Solicitor

My client, a well-established private practice law firm, is seeking a talented solicitor to join their busy litigation department due to sustained growth.

This is an excellent opportunity for solicitors across the PQE spectrum - NQ (Newly Qualified) through to senior solicitors with extensive experience in litigation and dispute resolution.

The Role

You will manage a varied and engaging caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters, which may include:

• Contract disputes
• Property litigation
• Debt recovery
• Professional negligence
• Contentious probate
• Company and partnership disputes
• General dispute resolution work

You will handle files from initial instruction through to resolution, with appropriate supervision depending on your PQE level.

Key Responsibilities

• Running a mixed litigation caseload independently
• Providing high-quality legal advice to a diverse client base
• Drafting pleadings, statements, applications, and correspondence
• Representing clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings
• Ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and case management requirements
• Building long-term client relationships and contributing to department growth

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales)
• NQ to 6+ PQE in litigation or dispute resolution considered
• Strong drafting, advocacy, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload with excellent attention to detail
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to client service
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
