Litigation Solicitor Well-established East London firm

A respected and long-standing East London practice is looking for a Litigation Solicitor to join its busy and collegiate team. The firm has a strong reputation in the local community and beyond, with a loyal client base built over many years of providing clear, pragmatic advice and exceptional client care.

The role

You'll handle a broad range of contentious matters including civil, commercial, probate, and property disputes. The position offers real variety and autonomy, with scope to develop your experience across contractual disputes, landlord and tenant issues, and debt recovery. You'll work directly with the Managing Partner and have genuine opportunities to shape and grow the department.

The candidate

The role would suit a solicitor with some post qualification experience in litigation; we're open minded on PQE and more interested in your capability, drive, and approach than in a specific number of years. You'll be comfortable managing your own caseload (with support available when needed) and confident drafting pleadings, preparing for trial, and advising clients strategically.

You'll also bring:

Sound knowledge across civil, commercial, and property litigation
Strong drafting and case management skills
The ability to build and maintain client and referrer relationships
A proactive, commercially minded approach
