Job Description
Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor
Location: Blackburn / Hybrid
Salary: Competitive

Are you an experienced Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor with a keen interest in financial mis-selling claims? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team that is making real waves in the sector - particularly in mis-sold PCP and car finance claims. You'll manage a dynamic caseload from inception through to litigation, helping clients secure justice and financial redress.

The Role:
As a Financial Mis-Selling Solicitor, you will play a pivotal role in pursuing claims related to mis-sold PCP and car finance agreements. Your work will involve:
  • Evaluating and progressing financial mis-selling claims, particularly PCP and car finance commission disputes.
  • Managing claims through all stages, including complaints to FCA members, brokers, the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS), FSCS, and issuing proceedings where necessary.
  • Handling all aspects of civil litigation, including drafting pleadings, track allocation, disclosure, witness exchange, instructing counsel, and trial preparation.
  • Maintaining accurate client records and communication through the firm's case management system.
  • Providing informal training and guidance to junior colleagues, including paralegals and new litigators.
  • Ensuring all work is compliant with relevant legal standards and FCA regulations.
  • Supporting a collaborative team environment, contributing to knowledge sharing and strategic case planning.

What We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Solicitor with 3-5+ years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation.
  • Strong understanding of PCP agreements and financial mis-selling matters.
  • Experience managing your own caseload, including litigated claims, with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a clear and methodical approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and confident handling of complex legal documentation.
  • Strong organisational and diary management skills.
  • Proactive, motivated, and capable of working effectively under pressure.
  • A supportive team player who enjoys contributing to the development of others.
  • Ability to work at pace without compromising on quality or client care.

If you're ready to use your litigation expertise to make a real difference in financial justice, we want to hear from you. Apply now, or for more information, send your CV to or call for a confidential discussion.
