Litigation - Complaints and Claims Handler - Exciting New Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Complaints and Claims Handler to join a growing and supportive legal environment. This is a newly created role offering the chance to shape processes, influence outcomes, and become a key part of an expanding compliance and risk function. This Complaints and Claims Handler position is ideal for someone with litigation knowledge who is looking to step away from fee-earning or build on their existing experience in a more advisory, problem-solving capacity.About the role

• Handle first-stage complaints from initial receipt through to resolution
• Investigate issues, liaise with fee earners, and provide written responses
• Manage claims processes, including communication with insurers and panel firms
• Support internal teams to resolve issues proactively and prevent escalation
• Assist in developing systems and processes to minimise future risks
• Work closely with the Head of Compliance and Risk
• Hybrid working available (approx. 2 days from home)

What we are looking for

• Experience or knowledge of litigation and court procedures
• Understanding of complaint handling processes and response timelines desirable
• Background as a paralegal, solicitor, CIlex or experienced legal professional
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative, approachable, and team-focused mindset
• Someone who values an open, friendly, and supportive culture
• Ability to build relationships with fee earners and stakeholders
• A desire to contribute to process improvements and team growth
