Linux Server Administration & Maintenance

Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Linux Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Linux server infrastructure. This project involves ensuring server stability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine server maintenance tasks (updates, patching, log management).
• Monitor server health, resource utilization, and performance.
• Implement and manage user accounts, permissions, and security configurations.
• Configure and troubleshoot services (e.g., Apache, Nginx, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SSH).
• Set up and manage backup solutions for server data.
• Respond to server alerts and resolve issues promptly.
• Provide documentation of server configurations and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong command-line proficiency and scripting skills (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with web servers, databases, and common Linux services.
• Understanding of server security best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot system-level issues.
