Linehaul Driver - Class 1

Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team of Drivers.

Working Hours

48 per week. Due to the nature of linehaul operations, start and finish times are determined by the route (tour) covered. Shifts will generally fall within the window of 17:00 to 05:00.

Salary

£15.14 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.63), and 10pm - 6am (£1.97).

What you will be doing

• Driving vehicles in our fleet on defined routes
• Holding responsibility for the security of the vehicle
• Conducting procedural checks on vehicles, documentation and loads
• Ensuring vehicle is always operated safely and legally
• Adhering to tachograph and driver's hours regulations
• Operating in line with FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures

What do you bring with you

• Hold a full valid C+E licence along with any required Driver cards and certification
• Be able to complete all required training
• Able to work independently
• Basic written and verbal communication skills
