As Service Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and developing a successful aftersales operation, ensuring both customer satisfaction and commercial performance are achieved. You'll inspire your team, maintain high operational standards, and create a culture focused on continuous improvement and customer excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate and develop the Service Department team.
- Manage departmental resources effectively to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure team members understand and support the wider business strategy.
- Drive performance through coaching, training and performance management.
- Champion exceptional customer service across all touchpoints.
- Ensure compliance with company systems, processes and manufacturer standards.
- Monitor and improve operational efficiency, productivity and profitability.
- Maintain a positive, accountable and high-performing team culture.
- Deliver a consistent and outstanding aftersales customer experience.
- Previous experience as a Service Manager or Senior Aftersales Leader within the automotive industry.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Commercially aware with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Passionate about customer service and customer satisfaction.
- Organised, proactive and able to lead by example.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Driven to develop both yourself and your team.
