Job Title: Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator

Location: Church Farm Care Home, Church Farm Lane, East Wittering, Chichester PO20 8PT

Salary: £13.10 - £14.10 per hour (dependent on experience)

Hours: Full Time 10:00 - 16:00, 36-hour contract

Summary: At Bupa, we support residents to live their best lives through person-centred care, supporting independence and honouring choice. The Lifestyle & Wellness Co-ordinator leads activities that foster joy, wellbeing and connection for residents, including arts and crafts, baking, book clubs, pub quizzes, gentle exercise and outdoor events.

Responsibilities

• Run morning and afternoon activity sessions.
• Produce and update an activity planner for the home, working to a set activities budget.
• Organise birthday surprises and other special events for residents.
• Liaise with external companies and local community performers to organise days out and events at the home.
• Organise one-to-one sessions with residents using reminiscence tools, puzzles, reading or conversation.
• Support the home's social media channels as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• You are a creative thinker with plenty of ideas and the ability to manage budgets and maintain paperwork.
• You can effectively manage priorities and demonstrate a genuine interest in caring for others.
• You bring humour, enthusiasm and a commitment to improving residents' lives.
