Licensing Solicitor

Overview

Service Care Solutions is recruiting on behalf of a Local Authority in West Yorkshire for a Licensing Solicitor to join their legal team on a hybrid basis.

Location: West Yorkshire (Hybrid Working)

Contract: 3 Month Rolling Contract - PART TIME

Rate: £50-£55 per hour (Umbrella) PAYE (Inc.Hol) : £44.50 - £48.89

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a caseload of licensing matters, including alcohol, entertainment, and taxi licensing
• Providing legal advice to council officers, committees, and elected members
• Drafting legal documents, reports, and representations
• Advising councillors in licensing sub committee hearings

About You

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with relevant experience
• Proven experience handling licensing matters within a local authority setting
• Strong advocacy and advisory skills
