Job Description - Liaison Engineer (16050)

Join our team as a Line Maintenance Liaison Engineer and take on a dynamic, hands-on role at the heart of our line maintenance network. Acting as the key link between easyJet and our maintenance providers, you'll oversee the day-to-day performance across a portfolio of assigned line stations. With full ownership of your schedule, you'll travel independently to stations based on operational needs, performance trends, audits, and AOG events. This is a high-impact position offering autonomy, variety, and the opportunity to represent easyJet across our network-while also supporting the evaluation of new locations and opportunities as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager.

What you'll be doing:

As a Line Maintenance Liaison Engineer, you'll be the key point of contact between easyJet and our contracted maintenance providers. You'll oversee the performance and compliance of assigned Line and Light Base Maintenance stations, conduct regular site visits, lead safety and audit investigations, support AOG recovery, and ensure adherence to easyJet's technical procedures and airworthiness standards. You'll also participate in start-up audits, training, resource coordination, oversee commercial activities, and contribute to continuous improvement of provider performance. This role offers significant autonomy and influence over operational quality, safety, and strategic maintenance delivery across our network.

What you'll need to do the role:

We're seeking candidates with a solid background in Aircraft Maintenance or MRO industry, with strong knowledge of Part M, Part CAMO, and Part 145 regulations. Hands-on experience with aircraft maintenance processes and procedures, contract and supplier management is essential. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organisational and interpersonal skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and AMOS are required. Motivated, detail-oriented individuals committed to continuous improvement are preferred. Knowledge of a foreign language is an advantage.

Location & Hours of Work:

This full-time role is based in Luton, working 40 hours per week. It involves significant travel across various locations throughout Europe.
