We currently have an opportunity for a Credit Analyst to join the Leveraged Finance Research team on a permanent basis in London.
As a Credit Analyst, you will undertake analytical responsibilities and make recommendations in the primary and secondary markets to the Leveraged Finance team. Your research will span leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
This is an exciting time to join the Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) Leveraged Finance team, which is establishing a CLO platform.
About the role- Provide high-quality credit analysis, timely recommendations, and informed credit comments to the Leveraged Finance team.
- Engage in the development of RLAM's credit research process.
- Continuously improve understanding of relative value, bond documentation, and market drivers for leveraged loans and high yield bonds.
- Assist in the provision and presentation of marketing materials.
- Demonstrable relevant credit analysis experience (or equivalent) and knowledge of leveraged finance markets.
- Knowledge of at least one specific sector within the leveraged finance market.
- Previous experience at a CLO manager is a plus.
- Qualification demonstrating competence, as required by RLAM Training & Competence Scheme.
- Good knowledge of data systems (Bloomberg, Aladdin).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong planning and self-management skills.
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
