Early Years Level 3 Practitioner

Location: Gateshead

Salary: Depending on Experience

Contract: Full-time Permanent (40 hours per week / shifts between 7.30am - 6.00pm)

Our Nursery are so excited to be growing & can't wait to welcome new members to their supportive, fun, and dedicated team.

Nursery based in Gateshead are currently recruiting for two Level 3 Early Years Practitioners to join a welcoming and nurturing early years setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate childcare professional who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and supporting children's development in a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment.

The role will involve working with children across the early years age range and supporting their learning, development and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and early education in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and deliver fun, engaging and age-appropriate activities
  • Observe, assess and track children's development and progress
  • Act as a key person, building strong relationships with children and parents
  • Maintain a safe, secure and stimulating learning environment
  • Follow safeguarding, welfare and health & safety procedures
You may also support children with additional needs by
  • Supporting identification of SEND needs
  • Implementing individual support plans
  • Liaising with parents and external professionals
  • Promoting inclusive practice across the setting
What the Nursery are looking for
  • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (CACHE/NVQ or equivalent)
  • Experience working in an early years setting
  • Someone passionate, caring, and eager to help children thrive
  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
