Job Description

Level 3 Early Years Practitioner - Permanent Role Location: Brent, London Salary: Paid in line with Brent schools' pay scales Start Date: ASAP / By agreement

A leading education recruitment agency is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a permanent position within a welcoming and well-resourced primary school in Brent. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced early years professional to join a supportive team committed to delivering high-quality early education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality early years provision in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate learning activities
  • Support children's social, emotional, and academic development
  • Monitor, assess, and record children's progress
  • Promote positive behaviour and uphold safeguarding procedures
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and parents
Requirements
  • Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent recognised by Ofsted)
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting (school or nursery)
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
Desirable
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs
  • Knowledge of phonics and early literacy development
