Level 2/3 EYFS Qualified After-School Club Practitioner

Location: Haringey, North London
Position Type: Part-time
Contract: Flexible / Ad-hoc Cover
Start Date: Immediate

We are currently supporting a specialist wraparound-care provider delivering high-quality after-school provision across primary schools in Haringey. We are seeking a Level 2/3 EYFS qualified practitioner to support Nursery and Reception-aged children within the After-School Club.

The Role

As a Level 3 EYFS After-School Club Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for early years children at the end of their school day. You will ensure that activities are age-appropriate, engaging, and aligned with EYFS principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the daily running of the Nursery and Reception After-School Club
  • Planning and delivering creative, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework
  • Ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and safeguarding of all children
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and developmental needs
  • Maintaining positive relationships with parents, carers, and school staff
  • Adhering to safeguarding, health & safety, and setting policies at all times
Hours
  • 3:00pm - 6:00pm
  • Flexible, cover-based shifts offered as required

This opportunity is with a specialist wraparound-care provider delivering engaging, high-quality childcare across primary schools in North London. The team is dedicated to providing a warm, inclusive, and structured environment where children feel secure, valued, and supported.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Level 2/3 qualification in Early Years (EYFS recognised)
  • Experience working with Nursery and/or Reception-aged children
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
  • A proactive, reliable, and enthusiastic approach
  • First Aid training (desirable but not essential)
