Aspire People is working in partnership with a successful and growing Multi Academy Trust in Bury to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for a full-time position within one of its primary schools.

The successful candidate will work within a classroom setting, with the specific year group determined by their strengths, experience and the needs of the school. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the class, whilst also providing targeted support to pupils with additional needs where required.

This is a varied role requiring someone who can balance whole-class support with more focused interventions, helping pupils develop confidence, independence and a positive attitude towards learning.

Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of engaging and effective learning activities
Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and achieving their learning objectives
Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND when required
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
Support the class teacher with classroom organisation and resources
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in lessons
Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
Contribute to the social, emotional and academic development of pupils

The ideal candidate will:
Hold a recognised Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
Be confident supporting pupils with a range of abilities
Have an understanding of SEND and inclusive classroom practice
Be adaptable and able to work across different key stages if required
Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
Be committed to helping every child succeed

Requirements
Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience
Full-time availability, Monday to Friday
Fluent spoken and written English

Willingness to complete safeguarding and pre-employment checks
