Level 2 Teaching Assistant - KS2 Support

Aspire People are seeking a motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join a primary school team supporting KS2 pupils. The successful candidate will provide essential support to teachers and help pupils achieve their academic potential while fostering confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting individual pupils and small groups with classwork
• Assisting with planning and preparing classroom activities
• Implementing intervention strategies to support learning needs
• Monitoring and recording pupil progress, reporting to teachers
• Supporting pupils with SEMH needs or behavioural challenges
• Encouraging positive social and emotional development

The Ideal Candidate

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
• Experience working in KS2 classroom settings
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
