We areseekingto recruit a positive, passionate, highlymotivatedand skilled teaching assistant to join our happy, caring teaching team .
ResponsibilitiesTemporary Teaching Assistant required from September 2026 for 1 year. Temporary part-time (27.5 hours). The year group for the role is yet to be decided and the desire to work collaboratively with colleagues and to be involved in the full life of the school is essential .

- Working with teachers to plan, deliver and evaluate activities.
- Provide feedback to the teaching team and children in relation to promote good progress.
- Supervise pupils for limited and specified periods, including break-times.
- To undertake lunchtime duties on a daily basis .
- A good understanding of safeguarding, equal opportunities, health and safety and SEN.
- A strong sense of fun, enthusiasm and a motivated, engaging team member.
- Supporting learning activities by making a contribution to supporting the teacher in the planning and evaluation and delivery of learning activities .
- Building positive relationships, promoting high self-esteem and resilience.
- Promoting high standards of behaviour in a supportive way.
- Has an understanding of the different ways that children learn effectively.
- Able to support children's social, emotional and mental health needs.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding.
- Committed to meeting the needs of all children inclusively.
- An awareness of the principles of effective assessment.
- Understands the statutory requirements of legislation concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety and SEN.
- Can motivate and inspire pupils.
- Can develop good personal relationships within a team.
- Is able to use the learning environment to enhance achievement.
- Is able to use ICT effectively.
