About The Role

Atlas is looking for new team members to work in David Lloyd Leisure.

Contract: Zero hour contract for a Cleaning position. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and will be expected to cover shifts as and when required.

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Location: Eastbourne, East Sussex, BN22 9PZ

What you'll be doing

• Dedicate your time onsite to going the extra mile and working seamlessly with David Lloyd Leisure managers.
• Participate in induction at the start of your contract and receive training within your first week.
• Deliver the cleaning specification, use equipment, and communicate between shift handovers.
• Provide a high standard of customer care across different shift hours.
• Clean all gym areas, including changing rooms, toilets, shower areas, stairs, landings, corridors, receptions, furniture, and fittings.
• Handle site based equipment and cleaning materials (training provided).
• Replenish consumables such as paper towels, soap, toilet paper, and bin liners.
• Empty all litter bins into appropriate waste and recycling containers.
• Ensure cleaning is completed to the highest standards at all times.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards and follow Atlas safety procedures.
• Work within a team that goes the extra mile.

Requirements

• Positive attitude and cleaning experience (basic training provided if you match our approach).
• Ability to carry out physical aspects of the role on David Lloyd Leisure sites.
• Basic spoken English for communication with safety and customers.
• Good social skills to fit in with the community and enhance customers' experience.
• Right to work in the UK (bring evidence to interview).
