We are currently seeking Leisure Attendants at Stokesley Leisure Centre

As a LeisureAttendant you will work within North Yorkshire Council's Leisure Services teamto provide support, enhance and deliver 'day to day' operations of the leisurecentre. The role involves supervision of customers, ensuring their safety andsatisfaction whilst following North Yorkshire Council's policies and proceduresat all times.

What we need from you

• Hold the RLSS NPLQ qualification (or be able toachieve it prior to employment) to ensure safe and effective lifeguard practiceand undertake essential regular training in line with lifeguard qualificationstandards and organisational protocols
• Awarenessof safeguarding children and vulnerable adults
• Goodunderstanding of customer care and working with customers/general public
• Workingin an environment where there may be conflicting priorities and demands
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Abilityto use own initiative
• Be ableto give clear, accurate, and assertive instructions verbally and through thecorrect use of signals to customers and other members of the team
• Abilityto solve routine problems as they arise and suggest ideas to improve serviceprovision.
