Legionella Consultant

We are seeking a diligent Legionella Consultant in the South East of England. You will be joining a well established Legionella consultancy who provide comprehensive services to blue chip client sites. Applicants will ideally hold experience working across a mixed portfolio of client sites, and must have experience liaising and conversing with clients in detail on technical matters. Candidates will be expected to uphold high customer service levels and must represent the company in a professional manner when attending company appointments. Client contracts are located around: Guildford, Working, Camberley, Bracknell, Windsor, Slough, Kingston upon Thames, Twickenham, Mitcham, Sutton, Epsom, Croydon, Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Erith, Dartford, Gravesend, Watford, Maidenhead, Harrow, Wembley, High Wycombe, Harpenden, Welwyn Garden City, Cheshunt, Harlow.

Experience / Qualifications

• Experience working as a Legionella Consultant within a Legionella Consultancy
• Must hold the City & Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
• It would support applications to hold a degree in Environmental / Science based fields
• Fully versed in ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
• Hardworking attitude
• Good IT and literacy skills
• Able to manage own workload efficiently

The Role

• Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
• Producing detailed reports to outline risks and make recommendations
• Creating schematic drawings to accompany reports
• Meeting with clients to provide detailed technical advice in addition to answering technical queries
• Contacting clients to arrange site access and project logistics
• Ad-hoc water sampling and temperature monitoring
• Maintaining excellent rapport with clients
• Working to agreed targets
• Supporting the training of new risk assessors / engineers
• Travelling in line with company requirements
