Job Description

Link Personnel is recruiting on behalf of a leading top-tier Irish law firm for a Risk & Compliance Assistant to join its growing Risk & Compliance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive professional with at least 3 years' administrative experience who is looking to develop a career in legal risk, governance and compliance. Previous experience in Risk & Compliance or KYC/AML is beneficial but not essential, as full support and ongoing development will be provided. This position will not suit FE 1 candidates

Salary: to €53k

Overall Package: to €64k

Working closely with senior members of the Risk & Compliance team, you will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of risk management and compliance activities. The position offers exposure to governance, regulatory compliance, client onboarding, KYC/AML processes and a variety of internal projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the day-to-day administration of the Risk & Compliance function.
  • Assist with file audits, compliance monitoring and risk management initiatives.
  • Help prepare policies, procedures, reports, presentations and committee papers.
  • Coordinate meetings, maintain project trackers and support ongoing compliance projects.
  • Update internal compliance resources and assist with staff training materials.
  • Work with HR, Finance, IT and other departments on firm-wide compliance initiatives.
  • Support client onboarding by reviewing KYC documentation and conducting compliance screening.
  • Assist with client and matter risk assessments and follow up on outstanding documentation.
The Candidate:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in an administrative or assistant role within a legal or professional services environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Professional communication skills and the ability to deal confidently with senior stakeholders.
  • A genuine interest in risk management, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience with legal systems such as World-Check, Intapp, Elite 3E or iManage would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an interest in learning new technologies, including AI tools
